Best Paper Award from the AIST (Association for Iron & Steel Technology) Committee

Klaus Löhe, Johannes Reinhard, Niklas Petrasch, Sebastian Kallabis and Knut Graichen have received the Best Paper Award 2025 of the AIST (Association for Iron & Steel Technology) Committee in the Hot Sheet Rolling category for their work “Work Roll Speed Drop Compensation for Hot Strip Mills reduces Drive Train Wear and increases Strip Quality”.
The award was presented at the 21th AISTech in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2025.
The research was the result of a collaboration between Primetals Technologies and the Chair of Automatic Control.
