Participation in the IEEE American Control Conference in Denver, Colorado

Maximilian Pierer von Esch attended the IEEE American Control Conference (ACC 2025), held from July 8 to July 10 in Denver, Colorado. He presented his paper titled “Asynchronous Sensitivity-Based Distributed Control for Nonlinear Systems,” which explores how to accelerate large-scale optimization using parallel and asynchronous computations. He also served as the chair of a regular session on distributed control.

He valued the opportunity to connect with fellow researchers, attend interesting presentations, and take part in insightful discussions, all while enjoying the unique blend of urban and outdoor experiences that the Denver area has to offer.
