Successful completion of autotech.agil
The project autotech.agil (Architektur und Technologien zur Orchestrierung automobiltechnischer Agilität), the follow-up project to UNICARagil, has successfully concluded. Since its start in October 2022 within the funding guideline „Elektronik und Softwareentwicklungsmethoden für die Digitalisierung der Automobilität (Mannheim)“, the project has advanced research on modular and agile development methods for future mobility.
The Chair of Automatic Control contributed to autotech.agil with research on modular, service-oriented probabilistic trajectory planning for safe and reliable autonomous driving in uncertain dynamic environments, with a particular focus on addressing challenges arising from the use of AI systems in automated driving.
The project concluded with a final event on 11 September 2025 at the Aldenhoven Testing Center between Aachen and Düsseldorf, where results and demonstrations were presented.
